But now, you can make a difference.
Uwe Boll (He made those detestably unwatchable movies, House of the Dead, Alone in the Dark, BloodRayne I & II, and most recently, POSTAL, to name a few - [link] ) apparently has said that if this petition reaches 1,000,000 signatures, he'd step out of making movies. Good riddance!
The petition started in April 08, it's quickly swooped up over 210,000 sigs and counting...
Help put an end to this abomination of film land and sign the petition...

...before it's too late, and you too, are eventually exposed to such horrid film making.
Please feel free to pass this on... it just may save some lives, or at least upto 2 hours of time which can never be regained.

Da clubs, yo!
I forgot what else I'm in... damn this not having a subscription crap.

This guy is seriously mental. It's terrible what a lack of bloody good (excuse the pun) games like Army of Two or Far Cry 2 can do to the population of the sad country that is Gayrmany.
God-darned kiddly-fiddlin' faggity-fags, I say.
But the good side of it is - I saw every possible kind of stupidity. I'm a moderator. *cue Terminator 2 music*
Sometimes you can't help but laugh at someone digging themselves deeper into a hole, though... Yanno?
Also, I'm a filmmaker myself, one who understands the artform isn't easy and definitely gets that it's not simple to finish a film. In time I'll get flack for this opinion, but so be it. If we make people stop doing their art, what's to stop others from making us cease our creative exploits?
Is he bad at it? Sure. But I'd rather he keep doing it than stop because of what a group of people think, no matter the number.
No matter how much of a crapfest it is... but the problem here is, that the crapfests are based on IP's and concepts that could be AMAZINGLY brilliant on the big screen, memorable, the works... but instead when they get churned out of Uwe's colonscope flicks, well... it kind of poops on the rest of the movies that could have may well been considered.
Haven't seen those movies you mentioned, I shall look them up, to the least to have more comparisons!
I totally & completely agree with this statement - "If we make people stop doing their art, what's to stop others from making us cease our creative exploits?" - and like I said on the petition, I said maybe he should try his hand at other types of directing, perhaps different audiences, or for different purposes. He might actually be BRILLIANT at that, and at the same time, not crap on the credibility & potential that these properties could deliver to the big screen, under the guidance of a more apt director.
And yeah, it can be tough (I'm a bit of a filmmaker myself - for TV & Film production on all levels, but it's been more of an artistic thing than a film thing - resources & what not get in the way horribly when you've got so many things going on as is... ho hum)
So, in short, I don't really care what he does with himself... I just want the arena of 'game to film' movies to have more legs to stand on, rather than Mr. Ewe toiletBoll running amuck chopping said legs in a messy & wreckless frenzy of craptitude.
I bet if he came up with his OWN stuff, his OWN passions and ideas, instead of just cashing in on a position where he does crap just because he can, he may just end up producing some kick ass work.
Just maaaah
